1. Controller

magiclabs GmbH, Rosengarten 9, 49456 Bakum, Germany.

Represented by Managing Director Mike Koene.

Email: mike@magiclabs.dev.

The entity named above is the controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Hosting (Vercel)

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When you access the site, Vercel processes technically necessary data on our behalf (including IP address, date and time of access, page requested, volume of data transferred, browser and operating-system information) in server log files.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and stable provision of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Any transfer to the USA is safeguarded by the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with Vercel.

Log files are stored only as long as required for secure operation and are then deleted.

3. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide (email address, name, message content) to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding).

The data is deleted once it is no longer needed for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.

4. Contact and intake form (AI Potential Analysis)

Information submitted via the AI Potential Analysis form (including company, contact person, email, phone, and voluntary details about processes, data and goals) is processed solely to prepare and carry out the requested consulting service. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of pre-contractual measures or a contract).

To send the form message we use the email service provider Brevo (Brevo GmbH, Cologne, or Brevo SA, Paris, France) as a processor within the EU. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.

No data is passed on to other third parties. Submissions are treated confidentially; a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) can be provided in advance on request.

5. Audience measurement and cookies

For statistical analysis of website usage we use Vercel Web Analytics — a cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics tool provided by our hosting provider Vercel (see section 2). It collects only aggregated, anonymized usage data (such as pages viewed, referrer, approximate region, and device and browser type).

No cookies are set, no personal profiles are created, and no data is linked across websites. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the statistical evaluation of website usage (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Because no non-essential information is stored on or read from your device, consent under § 25 TDDDG is not required. We use no marketing or tracking cookies.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and a right to object (Art. 21 GDPR). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority — the authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony (LfD Niedersachsen), Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover, Germany.

A message to mike@magiclabs.dev is sufficient to exercise your rights.

7. Data security

The website is delivered over an encrypted TLS connection (https) to protect the transmission of your data.

You will find the responsible entity and contact details in the Imprint.
